A Lesson In Everything…

Even if it’s not you going through the storm.

Sometimes I should practice what I preach, or what I know. I love John Travolta’s response to destroying Idina Menzel’s name at the Oscars.

“I’ve been beating myself up all day,” the Be Cool star said in a statement to E! News. “Then I thought…What would Idina Menzel say? She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’ Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!”

I GUARANTEE you that Mr. Travolta will forever remember how to say Idina’s name.  He probably wants another go around so he can nail it. HECK, I WOULD!

I love it, especially because it takes me back to all the times I mess up on air.  I beat myself up all the time. I am so hard on myself! I’ve even been called Gloria from Modern Family (Sophia Vergara). I have totally messed up a name or a saying.

My excuse, I was thinking in Spanish. Now, that I am working in Spanish, my excuse is the opposite. I was thinking in English. LOL! I can’t count how many times I’ve messed up and the beautiful part about it is… that I will mess up more in the future. THAT I KNOW FOR SURE!!

So thanks, Mr. Travolta! Thanks, for reminding me that I have to LET  IT GO! Not only of the things I can’t control but also of my f-ups!

Here is to all the ‘vas’ and my favorite ‘Chicken with his head cut loose.’ LMFAO

I now know, it’s “Chicken with his head cut off.”  LMFAO!!

Learning to let it go… one mess up at a time!
